Tuesday to Friday 10 am to 3 pm
Please call 613-342-0605 during regular hours to book an appointment to visit the food bank or to request home delivery. The drop in area for bread and other excess items will still be available for daily visits.
The Brockville and Area Food Bank (BAFB) would like to announce the recent appointment of an Operations Manager. This new role will manage daily activities, volunteer management and recruitment, grow community connections and continue with program and operations development to fulfill the community need for services. The decision to hire an Operations Manager was a choice the Board of Directors felt was necessary at this time, as the traditionally run volunteer-only organization has seen continued growth over the years.
Following a selection and interview process, the BAFB is pleased to welcome Hailie Jack to the role of Operations Manager. Hailie has a background in nursing and non-profit leadership and is a Brockville community member who grew up in the Lanark Leeds and Grenville area. She is passionate about non-profit organizations and began work with the team on March 29th, 2021.
Hailie states, “Having the opportunity to continue and build upon all the wonderful work that has been accomplished here at the Brockville and Area Food Bank, is truly an
honor. I am excited to work in my community and help the food bank fulfill their mission and vison. A special thank you to our volunteers and Board of Directors, who have spent many hours building the Brockville and Area Food Bank to where it is today. It is due to your dedication, hard work and commitment, that the organization has flourished. I look forward to working alongside all of you.”
